Udaipur - The Lake City of India

History
Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in the mid 15th century, Udaipur's history is replete with tales of valor and chivalry of the rulers who ruled over this land. Strongly denying powers to the rising Mughal dynasty, who had acquired much of north India, Udaipur rulers managed to keep it safe from the hands of external attackers as well. No wonder, a pure Rajputana culture managed to thrive in its soil and still today breathes amidst a modern day Udaipur.
Climate
Characterized by a tropical climate, Udaipur experiences hot summers and mild winters. Summer and winter temperatures of the city range between 45 - 28 and 25 - 2 degrees Celsius respectively.
